Have you always had the illusion of learning drawing and painting but never found the right place or time to start?
Are you already an amateur artist but need the guidance of a professional to advance in your work?
Do you know how to paint but at home you don’t have a suitable place or routine to work seriously?
In the heart of Palma
The Taller d’Art Quart Creixent is located in the center of Palma, very close to the Town Hall and the Cathedral. A very narrow alley but a very spacious workshop. Located on the ground floor of a house of Baroque origin, and with a large window that overlooks the house’s garden, the tranquility and light of the studio make working in it a pleasure. You have to get to the church of Montesión. Standing with the temple behind us, it is the alley that we have right in front of us. By bus: the closest stop (4 min.) Is next to the gas station located at the end of “Avenidas”, by the sea.
Drawing and Painting, all techniques
The Taller d’Art Quart Creixent was inaugurated in 2007. The group that attends is small, and the material can be left in the studio. The individualized work allows the assistance of both beginners, who have never picked up a brush, as well as experienced ones, who, due to lack of a suitable place in their home or due to the concern to advance on their way, wish to work in a studio with other artists and the accompaniment of a professional.

All kinds of artistic, pictorial and drawing techniques are used (graphite, charcoal, pastel, acrylic, oil, watercolor, collage, mixed techniques, etc.). Expressive styles encompass all contemporary art, both abstract and figurative. Beyond an Academy of painting or a School of Art, Quart Creixent means a shared study and mutual enrichment.
Carlos Cerdá directs the workshop

He studied at the Faculty of Fine Arts of San Fernando, at the Complutense University of Madrid, following the specialty of painting. His work has evolved from figurative to abstract painting. Master the various techniques currently used in the art world.
